Sweet Trends: Rock Candy as Party Favors | by Gilles March 27 2014, 0 Comments

Throwing a party is not always the easiest thing to do, especially when you have to worry about seating arrangements, food and drinks, the location, the music, etc. But, one thing that can be easy at your next get-together is the party favors. These little inexpensive and unique treats are a great way to thank your guests for coming but it doesn’t mean you need to spend an arm and a leg or rack your brain for hours to get the right party favor!

  • Halloween Party Favors: If you want a fun and festive way to give guests a treat, use orange rock candy on a stick and lay them out on a black or white breakfast tray that has been decorated with a Halloween theme. Think bats, pumpkins and witches.

  • Young Female Birthday: If you have a little girl that loves Tinkerbelle or little faeries, you can take a few pretty pastel rock candy colors, add in some butterfly jellies and add them to a pink or pastel tulle bag to make for a “faery” wonderful party favor.

  • Bridal Shower Favors: If you know of someone who is planning a bridal shower in the summertime, rock candy taken off the stick and placed in small mason jars is a cool and colorful way to go. Just add a few summertime colors like red, orange, yellow, etc. You can also add a cute bow or ribbon at the top of the lid printed with the date of the bridal shower.

  • Birthday Party Favors: If you like chic and stylish, you will love this rock candy idea. Take a few of the same colored rock candy sticks, and glue rhinestones or other plastic gems to the stick. Then add a bow and you are good to go!
